Mason Bonner is
a Grammy-Nominated recording, mixing, and mastering engineer based in Chicago, IL. He is currently the full time engineer for Grammy Award Winning Producer Peter CottonTale and manages Peter’s recording studio RCM Studios INC. based in Chicago’s Logan Square. Mason grew up in Marietta, Georgia where he studied music and first started cutting his teeth recording and mixing at a young age. He continued his training in Recording Arts getting his B.A. at Full Sail University graduating in 2014.
Mason moved to Chicago to begin his career at Chicago Recording Company and since has worked out of many studios in Chicagoland. Now with close to a decade in full time experience, Mason has recorded, mixed, and mastered for a wide range of celebrities and clients all over the world. Mason is Avid Pro Tools Certified, as well as has experience in Logic, Native Instruments, Ableton, and Luna.
His knowledge of music and audio spans past the studio with experience in production, audio for streaming, live sound including monitors & front of house, sound design & post-production, mixing for film & television, and studio building & and acoustics.
